Royal College of Nursing Congress 15-19 June 2014

Mon, 06 Jan 2014 15:46:00 GMT

Congress is the Royal College of Nursing’s (RCN) major annual debating forum. It provides RCN members with an annual opportunity to comment upon and influence Council policy, and to help inform the RCN's work for the coming year. This is where nurses decided what they think should be the priorities for health care in the following year.

Open to both RCN members and non-members, it is the largest of its kind in the UK and brings together everything nursing staff need to know to keep up to date in their area of practice.

RCN members engage in key debates around nursing practice, public health, employment issues, the workings of the RCN and any other relevant topics. Issues debated at Congress frequently make the headlines - it's an opportunity for the world to listen to the voice of nursing.

Running alongside the business of Congress is a large programme of professional, educational and social events. Plus the UK's largest exhibition of nursing products and services also takes place during the week. Nurses students are the life blood of the RCN, with specific events through out congress.

By visiting the exhibition you can gain knowledge on the latest products, services and equipment before they’re introduced in your place of work. There’s also a chance to discover the latest trends and learn what’s new in health care and nursing.

Congress will be from 15-19 June 2014 at Arena and Convention Centre (ACC) in Liverpool. Further information is available.
