Research Leadership Forum
Tue, 28 Jan 2014 06:00:00 GMT
The date of the research leadership forum has been changed from Thursday 6 February to Thursday 20 February. The time is still 4.00pm to 5.00pm and it will still take place in the George Buckley Lecture Theatre in the Researcher Hub. The date has been changed in order to maximise participation for this event.
Would you like to contribute to a discussion about how we can make a 20% reduction of administration in academic workloads, one of the aims of the University’s strategy? This session is aimed at academic/research staff and administrators.
This research leadership forum will be led by Professor Pierre-Alexandre Tremblay.
If you will be attending then please email Elizabeth Nassem: E.M.Nassem@hud.ac.uk to confirm this.
Before you attend this session please answer the following questions and bring an example or two for each of the following categories. Please send your replies to E.M.Nassem@hud.ac.uk as soon as you can and no later than Thursday 30 January.
- Tasks that are done by academics which should continue to be done by academics.
- Tasks which academics do and which could be done by admin support.
- Admin tasks which can hinder your role.
- Tasks we should stop doing altogether.
- Any other comments.
