Her Majesty The Queen unveiled the foundation stone for the Creative Arts Building when she visited Huddersfield.
As well as new rehearsal space and a recital hall, the building includes work-space and exhibition areas for art and design students. A ‘cube-shaped’ electro-acoustic research studio, comprising cutting-edge technology has created a world-class research facility.
The building was later officially opened by HRH The Duke of Kent.
