The University receives the Queen’s Anniversary Prize for “world-leading work to promote, produce and present contemporary music to an international audience”

The coveted distinction is a component of the country’s official honours system and is awarded every two years to a small number of Higher Education institutions to recognise innovation across many different disciplines.
