Gary Verity opens the £1.6m archive centre, Heritage Quay, at the University of Huddersfield
The University of Huddersfield was awarded £1,585,000 by the Heritage Lottery Fund to develop a new archives centre that will be one of the most technologically advanced in the UK. The archive was official opened by Mr Gary Verity, the Chair of the Heritage Lottery Fund for Yorkshire and the Humber.
