Dr Brooks assembled a team of experts and received funding from Diabetes UK for the project entitled Young people with diabetes and their peers. The goal was to explore attitudes towards diabetes from the point of view of teenage diabetics themselves and their friends. In this interview she talks about their research and the results of the project.
