Our final year Contemporary Art students are exhibiting in London at the Vyner Street Gallery and guess what?
Time Out London have billed their exhibition as one of the top five exhibitions to visit during ‘First Thursdays’ – late night art on the first Thursday of every month in East London.
Their exhibition, A Nascent State, is a selection of works representing the eclectic mix of art produced by our 2013 graduates on the Contemporary Art course. The show features an exciting expression of media ranging from sculpture, painting, video, sound, photography, drawing and installation. The exhibition is a culmination of work that illustrates a vast array of individual practice. The works offer an unusual insight into the issues and debates that concern today’s emerging contemporary artists.
The exhibition runs from Tuesday 2 July to Sunday 7 July with a private view on the evening of the first Thursday of the month on 4 July.
This type of recognition will increase awareness of the exhibition, resulting in even more visitors than the regular 1,000 who come through the doors on the night.
