Business School Course Administrator Dawn Halstead is nursing her blisters after completing a charity trek in aid of Families against Neuroblastoma.

Dawn was driven to complete the trek and raise money for the charity after learning about the plight of her cousin’s grandson, 18 month old Oliver Field who was diagnosed in 2011 with High Risk Neuroblastoma a rare form of Cancer.

Neuroblastoma has a shockingly high relapse rate and due to the extent of treatment currently available in the UK many parents have to seek further treatment overseas, which is where the money raised in the charity campaign will be used, should it be needed.

Dawn completed the trek, on the north Peak District moors, with a dozen other walkers and has so far raised over £400 for the charity.
