This month the University welcomed Abayomi ‘Yomi’ Asade to its MBA programme. The Business School offered a scholarship for a free place on the MBA programme to its agents. There was stiff competition with applicants from several countries. Yomi was selected and will begin studying the MBA in blocks over the next two years.

Steve Lawson, Director of the MBA programme said “The Huddersfield MBA is a significant brand which seeks to meet the aspirations of managers from a variety of organisations, large and small, public, private and voluntary.

This is a great opportunity for Yomi who is studying the Block version of the Huddersfield MBA, being exposed to the latest management thinking and mixing with and learning from other talented students for the duration of the programme. All of this will help equip Yomi for future senior management roles.”

Andrew Mandebura, Head of International Projects said that "This was a good way for the University to invest in our recruitment partners and provide them with skills they may wish to hone, it is also a good way for them to experience being a student at the University first hand.

Abayomi said: "The MBA has been very engaging and  thought provoking and I  am looking forward to the next module ".
