Accountancy organisation BASE competition in Huddersfield

School and college students around Yorkshire gathered at the University of Huddersfield for the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) BASE game which is a national annual competition.
Final year students from the University's BA(Hons) Accountancy and Finance degree were among the mentors for the school and college students to support them during the competition. The winning group came from Greenhead College in Huddersfield and the runners up were from Wakefield Girls High School.
Representatives from ICAEW were present during the day to support the competition and to provide information to the school and college students interested in preparing for a career in accountancy with ICAEW.
