On 5 May 2011, Dr Sigmund Wagner-Tsukamoto of the University of Leicester School of Management gave a presentation of his work at the Japan Foundation, Russell Square, London. His research on managers’ perceptions of consumer ethics in Japan was funded by the Foundation. FEGReG’s involvement with the event was that Prof. Chris Cowton, Director of FEGReG, was asked to act as a discussant.

Prof. Cowton commented: “It was a delight to visit the Japan Foundation and good to work with Sigmund again”. Prof Cowton supervised Dr Wagner-Tsukamoto’s doctoral research, which compared German and English ethical consumers at the University of Oxford, where he taught prior to joining the University of Huddersfield.
