Ahmed Musbah is the latest FEGReG research student to be awarded a PhD, for his thesis entitled 'The Role of Individual Variables, Organizational Variables, and Moral Intensity Dimensions in Accountants' Ethical Decision Making: A Study of Management Accounting in Libya'.

His main supervisor, FEGReG Director and Dean, Professor Chris Cowton, commented: 'Ahmed has been an exemplary researcher, completing his doctoral thesis within three years. The examiners were very impressed with the technical competence he demonstrated in the design of the study and in the analysis of his questionnaire survey of management accountants and accounting students'.

I look forward to the research appearing as FEGReG Working Papers and then journal papers. We also have plans in place for a comparative study of accounting students in different countries, with data being collected in collaboration with colleagues in the UK, Saudi Arabia and Spain, to add to the data we have for Libya.
