Dr Pooja Panchmatia, Senior Research Fellow in the School of Applied Sciences, has returned home from an intrepid expedition. Pooja was part of a group of friends who scaled the heights of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa. At almost 5,900 m in height it was no easy feat with the cold and reduced oxygen making the climb all the more difficult.
At the mountain's summit, Pooja marked the achievement by proudly displaying a University of Huddersfield Science banner.
