MSc gains Higher Education Academy accreditation

The Msc Multimedia and E-learning has gained accreditation from the Higher Education Academy

The accreditation means that people who study the MSc can gain accreditation as an Associate or Fellow of the Higher Education Academy based on the work that they've done on the course and there is no cost for this.

Accreditation by the HEA is considered important by many higher education institutions so this is a fabulous chance to get a higher qualification and to get the HEA accreditation at the same time.

To get the accredited status course participants complete a short portfolio in which they draw on the evidence from work on the course to demonstrate the HEA’s standards.

Liz Bennett, course leader, said, ‘Getting accreditation has proved popular, with several participants of the current cohort already having completed their portfolio.’

The panel report stated that the panel would like "to congratulate you on the work you have done.  Overall, they felt that the documentation is very good and that the programme itself sounds really good too!"
