Amanda French has been the External Examiner for our Early Years courses for the last two years. As the external she has been consulted about the development of the new Early Years BA(Hons) courses due to start in September 2012 and she had these comments about the new development, the courses and the staff.

I have been external moderator for these courses for the last two years.  During that time I have always found the quality of the curriculum and standard of delivery to be excellent.  The team work well across a number of campuses and in my experience they have always maintained high pedagogic and pastoral standards, irrespective of the setting they are teaching in.

The staff are well-qualified and work hard to ensure that all students enjoy a positive and supportive learning experience on their Early Years programmes. The team also has a lot of experience in offering this type of provision and I am sure that they will continue to create supportive and challenging educational experiences for the new full and part-time BA courses due to start in September 2012.’
