The conference was also pleased to welcome Rob Edwards and Jamie Allen, Publishers at the Emerald Group Publishing Limited, who gave a presentation called Getting Published.
The conference was concluded by a Meet the Editors panel discussion with Professor Glenn Hardaker and Professor Len Tui Wright from the University's Business School, who talked about their experience as editors of three ABS ranked journals.
Besides offering an opportunity for networking and interactive discussions, the EMERGE Conference served as an opportunity for strengthening the collaboration between the University of Huddersfield and both the Technical University of Liberec and the Technical University of Ostrava, where Dr Anchor is a Visiting Professor in the Faculty of Economics. Dr Anchor said: “Feedback on the conference has been excellent from participants. I hope that it will be possible to organise a similar event in the not too distant future”.
