Dr Anna Williams joins the University of Huddersfield

Dr Anna Williams, a Forensic Anthropologist, will be joining the forensic science team in the School of Applied Sciences on the 1st October 2013.

Anna has a PhD in Forensic Anthropology from the University of Sheffield, entitled ‘Estimating the Trauma Death Interval; a Histological Investigation of Fracture Healing’ and comes here from the University of Cranfield; where she was a Lecturer in Forensic Anthropology.

She has considerable experience in teaching, research and practice. She has also been involved in science communication work; including appearing on BBC3’s Secrets of Everything; Channel 4’s Time Team Special; Nelson’s Hospital; Gods and Monsters; Discover Channel’s Treasures Decoded; Alien Discoveries; Ultimate Tutankhamen.
