Hud Literature Festival Books Staff and students are invited to join “Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Publishing", as part of the Huddersfield Literature Festival.

The session takes place on Thursday 16 March from 6.00pm to 7.00pm in Heritage Quay, level 3, Schwann Building.

Entry costs £1.50 (free to students, please show student card).

About the session:

Bookworms often dream of being authors - but did you know there are many other ways to work with books? That you don’t have to publish a novel to be a writer?

Established in 1949, the Society of Young Publishers is now open to all ages; catering especially for aspiring publishers and those with less than 10 years’ experience.

Hosted by the SYP North branch, this crash course will tell you all you need to know about a career in publishing: from job roles to genres and handy hints on getting in.

How to book:

To book your ticket visit the Huddersfield Literature Festival website.
