National Student Survey (NSS)

The annual National Student Survey (NSS) opens on Monday 23 January.
The NSS is now firmly established as the major barometer of student opinion and is therefore a vital indicator of our students’ satisfaction levels. The results of the survey also feed into the ‘Key Information Sets’ (KIS), which appear on all course pages on universities’ websites and on the Unistats site, so the findings are readily available to enquirers and assist in their decision making. It is also a key element of the metrics used to compile universities’ rankings in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF).
As with all surveys we must not influence students’ responses in any way, however, please encourage your final year students to take part. This year we will offer a £5 voucher to every eligible student who completes the NSS by Wednesday 15 March 2017. The voucher can be used in the Students’ Union shop or other Huddersfood outlets.
We will also be sharing this information directly with students via the student web pages, social media and plasma screens across campus.
