Business School Placement Unit among UK’s best

The Business School Placement Unit has been shortlisted for 'Best University Placement Unit' for the third year in a row in the inaugural National Undergraduate Employability Awards 2016. Making it to the final represents the invaluable contributions made by the team to help students at our university to maximise their career prospects.
The team are also thrilled that Placement Officer, Andrew Stainton is a finalist for 'Outstanding Contribution to Work Experience' due to his continuous efforts in helping students maximise their work experience opportunities.
The inaugural NUE awards have grown considerably in reputation within the industry and are now entering their eighth year in 2017. They celebrate success across the country and recognise the efforts that universities, staff and students put in to making these placements a fulfilling experience.
The award ceremony is set to take place on February 24th February in London and will include inspirational guest speaker and Olympic swimmer, Rebecca Adlington OBE.
