Using LEGO® to model your teaching and learning practices
Wed, 15 Feb 2017 02:00:00 GMT
This session is designed for colleagues who have teaching and training responsibilities. Staff can build and create 3D metaphorical models using LEGO® bricks as a tool to reflect on their teaching and training practices.
The session takes place on Friday 24 March from 10.00am to 12.00pm, in the Staff Development Training Room, SB7/28, Schwann Building, Level 7.
LEGO® bricks enable you to visualise thoughts, ideas and reflections using metaphors and storytelling (Nerantzi & Despard, 2014). This workshop will employ some of the principles of the LEGO® Serious Play methodology. Participants don’t need significant technical LEGO® skills to participate in this workshop but do need to have some teaching/training responsibilities.
Places for this session are limited so please book via Eventbrite as soon as possible if you are interested. Tea and Coffee will be provided.
