Because even the most patient among us can’t wait forever.
The Machine Stops

The Machine Stops is a chilling prediction and exploration of our increasingly complex relationship with technology. One of the UK’s leading touring companies Pilot Theatre (Antigone, The Loneliness of the Long Distance Runner) presents this adaptation of renowned novelist EM Forster’s 1909 short story masterpiece, which is still astoundingly prophetic and poignant today.
Joan

The Empty Nesters' Club
Friday 5 May
Written & Directed by John Godber
If your children have left home and the nest is empty, this is the group for you! Vicky Barret shares her story of empty bedrooms, fresher's flu, boyfriends, long goodbyes, motorway service stations and trips to Ikea; and how she fought back to be the woman she is today, exhausted. THE EMPTY NESTERS’ CLUB is a brand new comedy from John Godber from the Jasmin Vardimon Company.
Super Sunday
Thursday 1 June – Saturday 3 June
The latest super-fun show from Race Horse Company, the acclaimed all-male Finnish circus troupe with a reputation for madcap brilliance. Big on flying, big on skill and big on stomach churning thrills, SUPER SUNDAY is delivered with laidback humour, rolled-out on a stage dressed as a derelict funfair. Against an atmospheric soundtrack, tension builds as the six performers casually propel themselves higher and higher on trampolines, teeterboards and with catapults. A single slip and things could get messy!
