On 18th April, Prime Minister Theresa May called for an early general election on 8th June 2017. This is the chance to make your voice heard.

Snap elections don’t come around often, and as a student you’re presented with a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to shape the future of the country.

Who best represents me?
ISideWith have a simple quiz to gauge how your political beliefs match the current parties and candidates in the election. You might find this useful if you’re not sure which party best represents your interests.

Can I register to vote?
You can register if…
• You’re a British citizen in the UK
• You’re a Commonwealth citizen in the UK www.thecommonwealth.org
• You’re a British or Irish citizen abroad who’s already registered to vote in the UK

Remember, you need to re-register if you have moved since the last election. In order to vote you will need to register by 22 May.
