Apple advises immediate update after discovery of targeted iPhone spyware
Apple has released iOS 9.3.5, an essential update for iPhones, iPads and iPods.
A major security vulnerability in which the memory contents could be disclosed has been addressed in iOS 9.3.5 so it is highly recommended that you upgrade as soon as you can.
If you can’t see the update on your device, you can update it manually using iTunes. Further details on how to do this are available on the Apple support website.
