Heritage Quay Autumn Programme

Heritage Quay have now launched their Autumn/Winter programme with a range of exciting new events and exhibitions. Their events programme focuses on three key areas of their collections: local history, music and rugby league. Attendance is free for everything and there is a mix of drop-in and booked events.

Heritage Quay is the official archive for the University of Huddersfield and acts as the guardian of the archives for a variety of other organisations, families and individuals dating back over 200 years.

Family Fun Friday

Heritage Quay will be hosting Family Fun Friday on 28 October 11.00am-3.00pm. Go along for hands-on and engaging art activities for children aged 5-12 inspired by Heritage Quay's unique collections. The event is free to attend with no prior booking required.

Four Nations History Day

On Saturday 26 November from 10.00am-4.00pm Heritage Quay is hosting Four Nations History Day. Go along and explore the rich history of games between the teams. There will be guest speakers and collections on display with plenty of things to do and see. The event is free to attend with no prior booking required.

Women of Heritage Quay Exhibition

This season Heritage Quay are launching their Women of Heritage Quay exhibition from displaying items and anecdotes of the inspiring, pioneering women that you may never have heard of. They will be bringing their stories to life with specially selected archival treasures.
