European Researchers Open Night - come smell the coffee!

Visit the Business School between 4-9pm on the evening of Friday 30th September to take part in a Europe-wide public event dedicated to popular science and fun learning.
CSRC are running an activity at the University of Huddersfield event based on some of our research. You'll find out about coffee - one of the world’s most popular drinks. Do you know where it comes from? And did you know that the home of wild coffee is under threat from deforestation? Come and join us, meet the researchers and hear more about what we are doing to protect the home of coffee and preserve the wild coffee gene pool for future generations. You'll get to taste traditionally made coffee and see and smell some of the other forest products such as spices and honey which are being sustainably harvested and sold to provide an income for local people.
