Heritage Quay will be holding a series of free walks and talks this weekend as a part of the Heritage Open Days.

Heritage Open Days is England's biggest festival of history and culture involving over 40,000 volunteers. Every year over four days in September, thousands of events across the country invite people to explore local treasures of every age, style and function. It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – and it’s all free.

The events take place from Thursday 8 September to Sunday 10 September and will cover areas such as history, geography, literature and psychology.

The events organised by Heritage Quay will be delivered by members of staff from the University. Events include The 4th World Congress of Psychogeogrpahy which brings together experts and amateurs in this fascinating field. With a mix of walks and talks come and find out what it’s all about and take the opportunity to explore new ways of seeing the world around you.
