Appointment to Editorial Board of Journal of Gender Studies

Dr Jo Woodiwiss has been appointed to the Editorial Board of the Journal of Gender Studies. The Journal of Gender Studies is an interdisciplinary journal, specialising in content concerning the subjects of gender and sex from a feminist perspective. It is interdisciplinary in scope and features articles covering topics within the Arts and Social Sciences, as well as Popular Culture. The journal is published by Taylor and Francis Journals and may be read online at the following link.

Dr Woodiwiss is a Senior Lecturer in Sociology in the Department of Behavioural and Social Sciences. Her areas of research include self and identity, therapeutic and self-help cultures, health and wellbeing, childhood sexual abuse (including adult victims), narratives, and interpersonal sexual violence and the intersections of these with gender and / or sexuality. She is co-editor of the forthcoming book Feminist Narrative Research: Opportunities and Challenges (Palgrave Macmillan).
