Walk to the woods

The Huddersfield Bird Watching Club has been hosting a series of bird watching walks and events for students and staff at the University of Huddersfield. The events have been organised throughout Huddersfield in partnership with the Education for Sustainable Development Forum at the University of Huddersfield and Sustrans.
The walk will begin at the University of Huddersfield campus and then will proceed via Snow Island, across Kings Mill Lane and then onto Longley Woods. The walk should be just under three hours in duration. Meet by the Harold Wilson reception desk at 9.00am on Sunday 20 November 2016. There is no charge for attending. Bring good walking shoes and a raincoat. Binoculars optional!
