“My PhD project was partially funded by industry and I undertook a wide range of part-time academic roles as a dissertation supervisor, research assistant, and lecturer at in the Business School and for the International Study Centre. I passed my Viva with no corrections and received the 'Vice-Chancellor's Award for an Outstanding Research Degree Thesis' and 'Outstanding All Round Academic Award'”

“After graduating I became a Lecturer in Business and Management at the University of West London. This highly dynamic and rewarding role entailed leading the development and implementation of entrepreneurship and enterprise degree programmes and professional short courses for industry. To pursue my growing passion for entrepreneurship and consultancy, I joined the Futures Entrepreneurship Centre at Plymouth University”

“I have recently joined Manchester Metropolitan University's Business School as a Senior Lecturer where I focus on developing new research projects in cross-national comparative research while developing and implementing new teaching and learning techniques to deliver effective enterprise education connected with the 'real world of enterprise'. I am actively delivering conference papers and collaborating  with academics who have similar interests”

“It was a pleasure to have pursued a PhD programme in my home town of Huddersfield and I am thankful to the University for providing me with the opportunities that enabled me to move forward in my career”
