CMS award winners collect prize

Students from the Certificate in Management Studies (CMS) course and staff attended the Kirklees Adult Learners Awards in September to pick up an award. The event, held at Huddersfield Town Hall, saw the whole cohort of students winning the Outstanding Group Award 2016. Paula Clover, a student who graduated from the course this year commented; "It was great to be put up for nomination by our Course Leader for a Group Award at the Kirklees Adult Learners Awards Ceremony. I'm sure I can speak for all my cohort in saying that undertaking the CMS has had a positive impact on all our lives."
Course Leader Rachel Cockman, who attended the event with the students commented; "It was a pleasure to attend the awards ceremony and hear the inspirational stories from adult learners across Kirklees. There were nerves and pride from our own CMS students who deservedly won a group award for their learning efforts. Their stories of learning and the hard work and commitment they gave to the course are an inspiration to their tutors, friends, colleagues and families."
