The Huddersfield Active Travel (HAT) project is organising free walks and bike rides for all staff and students.

Every Tuesday you can talk to the team and get advice on cycling, travel information, free maps and cycling freebies, at the Library Atrium, Central Services Building from 12.15pm to 13.35pm.

Wednesday Walks (45 minute walk)

Wednesday 18 May - Meet at 12.30pm outside the Student Central

Led Bike rides

Wednesday 11 May, 6.00pm to 8.30pm

Bikes can be provided with notice

15 miles from Kirklees College to Slaithwaite

About the Huddersfield Active Travel (HAT) project

The HAT project is part of a nationwide programme (Access 2 Education) initially funded by the Department for Transport (DFT) and delivered by Sustrans and partners including the University of Huddersfield, Kirklees College and Kirklees Council. The project aims to increase sustainable and active travel for staff and students.
