Support Staff Conference

We are excited to announce that you can now book your place on this year’s Support Staff Conference. The conference will take place on Thursday 24 March from 8.30am to 5.00pm. This annual conference is open to all support staff including service, school, technical and administration departments. The day enables you to network, learn, share ideas and try something a bit different.

Highlights include:

  • Keynote speaker and novelist, Joanne Harris (MBE) known for notable books and novels including Chocolat (1999), an Oscar-nominated film starring Juliette Binoche and Johnny Depp. Other award winning books and novels include Runelight and Blackberry Wine.
  • This year you can choose a total of 4 workshops (two morning and two afternoon workshops). Please note that you cannot book places for other people on eventbrite.
  • Overall 28 workshops to choose from including educational and recreational options. With everything from “The Wonders of OneNote” and “Enhancing your Entrepreneurial Skills” to “Bath Bomb creation” and “Becoming a Radio Star”, there really is something for everyone.
  • Exhibition – over a delicious and wholesome lunch enjoy a browse around the exhibition space which will include a wide range of stalls including Temple Spa, Occupational Health and AUA, with many more to be announced in the coming weeks.

Please note that the workshops have limited capacity, so we advise you to book early to avoid disappointment.
