Fairtrade Fortnight

Join and celebrate Fairtrade Fortnight at the University and help make a difference to people’s lives around the world. A variety of Fairtrade Fortnight Events are organised from Monday 29 February to Sunday 13 March and all staff and students are invited to join in.

As Martin Luther King famously said: “Before you finish eating your breakfast in the morning, you’ve depended on more than half of the world”. Yet there are times of the year when people around the world who grow the food we eat for breakfast can’t feed their own families. That’s why Fairtrade Fortnight this year is all about the big breakfast!
