As the home of the Rugby Football League archive, there is a lot going on at Heritage Quay this summer for fans of rugby league - and it’s all free!
Tuesday 12 July
The final rugby league event is Beef, Brains, Brawn and Muscle on Tuesday 12 July. Heritage Quay have invited expert Dr Kevin Till from Leeds Beckett University to talk about the physiology of rugby – the preparation for and effect of the game on the modern (and historic) player. Family Fun Fridays
For younger fans, there are three Family Fun Fridays during the school holidays, on Friday 29 July, Friday 19 August and Friday 2 September. At these free activities, which take place from 11.00am to 3.00pm, children can make and take away creative pieces inspired by the rugby collections.
