Dementia IN

Have you ever wondered how you can develop the know-how to help people with dementia feel better included and understood in society? The Alzhemier's Society's Dementia Friends programme is one way that this is being addressed. The aim of the programme is to create, by the year 2020, 4 million dementia friends.

This hour long workshop embraces the vision of the Alzheimer's Society and will be delivered by a Dementia Champion. The workshop will enable attendees to learn more about what it is like for people living with dementia. It is an interactive session that will challenge the ways in which we think about, talk about and understand dementia with a view to become a dementia friendly society.

Date: Wednesday 22 June

Information session start time: 2.45 pm

Venue: Harold Wilson Building, Ground floor, Room 04 (HWG/04)
