Students’ Union Book Sale

To help students with the cost of text books the Students’ Union is holding a second hand book sale on Tuesday 9 February. The idea behind the event is to allow students to save money by buying books second hand, rather than from the big retailers and also give them, staff and alumni the opportunity to make money from selling books.
The Students’ Union is currently looking for books to put up for sale and is offering all staff the opportunity to get involved by selling books. The selling process is simple, drop off your books at the Students’ Union helpdesk, open 9.00am – 6.00pm, up until Friday 5 February at 12.00 noon. Cash from sales and any unsold books can then be collected from the Students’ Union from Wednesday 17 February.
They are also offering a collection service, so if you would like them to collect your books from your office please email Suzy at hudbooks@hud.ac.uk.
Spreading the word to your colleagues, family and friends about the sale would also be much appreciated.
