Poster competition

This year to mark the University’s Third Annual Social Justice Lecture and to celebrate the success of the Legal Advice Clinic, the Law School is running a poster competition.
The competition is open to ALL current full-time and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate students of the University.
The theme of the lecture this year is human rights. Angela Patrick, Director of Human Rights Policy, at the charity Justice, will present the keynote speech, “Rights, liberties and values: always check the label”.
The Brief
To design a poster which communicates / depicts from a human rights perspective what justice means to you. The context can be legal, political, societal or historical.
The message should be clear and understandable without the need for oral explanation.
Prize
To be awarded on the evening of the Lecture on Thursday 18 February 2016.
1st prize - £200 Amazon voucher
2 runner-up prizes – £100 Amazon voucher each
Requirements / Other Information
1. Posters should be A2 in size.
2. Closing date is 5.00pm on Monday 8 February 2016. Entries submitted after this deadline will not be accepted.
3. 1 hard copy and an electronic submission should be made to:

Your name, student ID and contact details should also be included with your submission.
4. In submitting your poster you are consenting to it being displayed in the Business School.
5. Submissions can be made as either individual or group entries.
Assessment Criteria
Presentation of message: impact, visual appeal, originality, language and images used.
Clarity of message.
