All staff and students are welcome to join the Spring Festival and Chinese Talent Show at the University on Tuesday 2 February.
Spring Festival
All staff and students are welcome to come to this FREE event hosted by the Chinese, Hong Kong, Malaysian, South Korean, Taiwanese, Vietnamese and British Cultural Language Exchange student societies at the University.
The Spring Festival will take place in Student Central on Tuesday 2 February from 11.00am to 3.00pm.
Celebrating the new lunar year calendar, it will be a great opportunity to sample some south-Asian culture and cuisine and make new friends along the way. There will be lots of activities, performances, games and food for you to enjoy.
Also, there are many more games and activities throughout the afternoon.

The Chinese Talent Show also takes place on Tuesday 2 February from 6.45pm to 9.00pm in St. Paul’s Hall (on campus).
This is a ticketed event and tickets are priced at £3 and are available from the International Office in Student Central.

- Lion Dance
- Acrobats – Contortion Sculpture
- Acrobats – Hoola Hoop
- Acrobats – Feet Juggling with Drum
- Acrobats – Diablo
- Face Changing
- Acrobats – Hat Juggling
Join the Chinese Student Society as they host a very special evening show to conclude the Spring Festival celebrations.
