Mental Health Day Wellbeing and Disability Services are running two events in celebration of University Mental Health Day.

Tuesday 1 March, Night at the Movies, 5.30pm-7.30pm

There will be a screening of 'Love & Mercy', the amazing story of Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys, starring John Cusack, Paul Dano and Elizabeth Banks in Heritage Quay, Level 3, Central Services Building. The film intimately examines the personal voyage and ultimate salvation of the icon whose success came at extraordinary personal cost.

Free entry with pop and popcorn.

Thursday 3 March, Tea & Chat, 11.30am-2.30pm

This is University Mental Health Day itself and on Level 4, Student Central, Wellbeing and Disability Services will be serving free tea and delicious cakes (for a small donation). External organisations will also be attending in The Atrium, Central Services Building and Level 4, Student Central, who will be available alongside University staff to talk and provide information to anyone worried about mental health and other issues.

According to the Mental Health Foundation, every year one in four people will experience some kind of mental health problem so this event will be of interest to everyone.

Both events have been organised by Lynsey Gray,
