A number of exciting events organised by Event Management students will take place this week and everyone is invited to join.
Brain Crash
Wednesday 17 February – 7.00pm to 9.00pm
Quayside, Level 2, Central Services Building
Who is the most intelligent person in Huddersfield?
Brain Crash is a night of interactive intelligent games. Come along to enjoy traditional games, exciting competitions and earn the winning prize.
Free snacks and drinks are provided!

All the earnings from tickets will be used to support the UK charity Children In Need
Hud Dance
Thursday 18 February
HudDance is a fun filled evening of dance performances, from ballet all the way to salsa and belly dancing. This event is giving societies at the University and local dance schools the opportunity to bring the community together through dance, whilst also showing off their amazing talents. There will be a raffle on the night giving you the opportunity to win a hamper of student supplies worth £40 and £60. There will also be cinema style food and beverages for sale from £1.
All proceeds will go to the Laura Crane Youth Cancer Trust.
Little Wonder Swap Shop
Friday 19 February

Bored of your wardrobe, is it full but nothing new to wear? Join the Little Wonder Swap Shop for clothes, shoes and accessories (for staff and students). All proceeds will go to the Act for Wildlife Charity. For more information contact the Events Management team by telephone: 07984655778
Rules:
- For every item you bring you receive a token to swap for another item
- It can get quite competitive so come and browse (12.30pm) the items before the swap opens (1.00pm-2.00pm).
- £3.00 to take part (you can bring as many or as few items to swap as you wish)
Dates & Times:
- Drop Off for clothes, shoes & accessories: Monday 15 and Thursday 18 February from 1.15pm to 5.15pm and Friday 19 Feburary between 9.30am and 11.30am outside the Students’ Union shop.
- Browsing between 12.30pm to 1.00pm, Student Central
- Swapping items between 1.00pm - 2.00pm
- Sale (left over items will be sold) between 2.00pm & 4.00pm
