Make in India Seminar

Make in India is a flagship programme of the Government of India launched in 2014. It aims to promote India as an investment destination and a global hub for manufacturing, design and innovation. Twenty five sectors have been identified under the programme. These include IT, Automobiles, Biotechnology, Renewable Energy, Thermal Power, Construction, Roads and Highways, Defence Manufacturing, Oil and Gas, Tourism and Hospitality, Food Processing, Mining, Chemicals, Aviation and Textiles.
The programme also aims at improving the Ease of Doing Business in India.
This seminar on Wednesday 10 February will provide information related to this initiative and present case studies of UK businesses working with India. There will be an opportunity for networking with Indian government officials, business facilitation agencies (both public and private sector) and business representatives.
