International Food and Culture Festival

Wed, 02 Mar 2016 02:00:00 GMT

All staff and students are welcome to attend the International Food and Culture Festival on Wednesday 2 March from 6.30pm to 9.30pm.

Sponsored by the International Office, this festival has evolved to be one of the biggest and most anticipated events on campus each year. Hosted by the University's international student societies, the festival showcases the very best international cultures and cuisines.

The festival allows students and staff from the UK and around the world to represent and showcase their countries, cultures and make friends along the way.

Students host their own tables of food from around the world and also perform on stage with songs, dance, games, fashion and instruments.

Part of International Week, this festival has become an annual highlight of the students’ event calendar. Now in its fifth year, the event celebrates culture, inclusion and fun.

The University has over 3,000 international students from 120 countries. With nearly 60 international student societies taking part at the festival, this much anticipated cultural event creates a vibrant atmosphere on campus.‌
