Bird Watching walk IN

The Huddersfield Bird Watching Club has been hosting a series of bird watching walks and events for students and staff at the University of Huddersfield. The events have been organised throughout Huddersfield in association with the Education for Sustainable Development Forum at the University of Huddersfield and Sustrans.

The next walk will take place on Sunday 17 April from 9.00am to 12.00pm. 

Morning bird watching walk with Chris Abell.

The walk will begin at the University of Huddersfield campus and then will proceed along the canal and Longley Nature depending on time availability. The walk should be just under three hours in duration. Meet by the Harold Wilson reception desk at 9am on Sunday 17 April. There is no charge for attending. Please bring good walking shoes and a raincoat. Binoculars optional!
