A warm welcome to all new students at the University of Huddersfield.
The International Office and other Student Services on campus are welcoming all new international students with a range of activities, events and talks. The Welcome Programme 2015 started on Saturday 12 September with many successful events and will continue until Saturday 3 October.
This is your opportunity to get involved in a variety of new activities, make new friends and learn about other cultures on campus.
The 'Welcome Programme 2015' includes free sports classes at the University Sports Hall and Gym. Also international students can get a free guided walk around Huddersfield town centre and find out all the best places to shop, eat and visit.
Other events include a welcome talk, tour around Yorkshires most iconic museums and parks, a free Huddersfield Town football match, Old Trafford stadium tour/Museum (home to Manchester United football club), Quiz Nights, Freshers’ Fair organised by the Students’ Union, Campus Tea Party and Vintage Market, Yorkshire day out and attendance to many local events.
