Open Day Parking

Mon, 14 Sep 2015 10:00:00 BST

Dear Colleagues

As you will know our next Open Day is on Saturday 19 September.

I am pleased to say we are expecting very high levels of attendance – which is excellent news as it gives us the chance to show even more potential students the benefits of studying here.  I am very grateful to everyone for their hard work in making these special occasions for our visitors.

As always on Open Days we will open up our car parking on campus to our visitors to help them get the most from their day.  So, with the exception of disabled bays, all car parking spaces on campus, including the staff car park on Firth Street, will not be accessible to colleagues on 19 September.  If you are working at the Open Day, please park on the University car park side of the St Andrew’s Road Car Park (on the left as you face the car park from the road).  Please ensure that you still display your permit if you choose to park there.

I am sorry for the inconvenience this may cause you.  Please contact me if you have any further concerns.

Thank you, as always, for your understanding and support in helping make our Open Days so successful.

With best wishes.

Professor Tim Thornton

Deputy Vice-Chancellor
