VIV’s keynote speeches on Smart CCTV Surveillance Forum

VIV group leader Dr. Zhjie Xu and research fellow Dr. Jing Wang have been invited to share their research expertise with international partners from China, Singapore, United States and Australia in the 2nd International Symposium on Public Security and Forensic Technologies. This event was held by the Xi’an University of Posts & Telecommunications in China and sponsored by the key national information security laboratories and government ministries. During the event, VIV members introduced their researches on computer vision-based crowd event detection and research frontiers in forensic evidence digitisation and online processing. Their work has been widely recognised during the event and attracted great attention from fellow researchers and end-users such as police and surveillance technology companies.
