VIV Member Elected as the Programme Chair for ICAC’22

Dr. Zhijie Xu has been elected as the Programme Chair for the 22nd International Conference on Automation and Computing, which will be held at the Essex University in 2016.
Dr. Xu has been a long term member of various professional societies including IEEE, IET, BCS and CACSUK. He has been serving in many conference committees, reviewing panels, and main and guest journal editorial boards. After assisting another successful ICAC conference (ICAC’21) held in the Strathclyde University this year, Dr. Xu was nominated the only candidate for the Programme Chair of ICAC’22 and hence approved by the conference committee.
