Visiting professor Dianwei Wang joined VIV group

Professor Dianwei Wang who is coming from the Xi’an University of Posts & Telecommunications has joined VIV group recently for his one year state-sponsored academic visiting. Professor Wang’s current research interest is signal processing and colour image analysis for image de-noising, which is an important area for developing robust intelligent video surveillance systems. During his visit, joint research outputs will be generated. International collaboration grant applications from the research councils in both countries will be proposed. Professor Wang’s visit will bring vital research opportunities for the research group.
