A BUSINESS supported by the University’s Enterprise Team, All My Systems (AMS) based in The Duke of York Young Entrepreneur Centre (DOY YEC), has won the prestigious Shooting Star business award run by Huddersfield Town Association Football Club (HTAFC).

AMS, a niche consultancy, was established in Spring 2014 and their projects have spanned the team’s web development, customer relationship management (CRM) and data engineering skills-sets, whilst achieving their goal of connecting clients’ business systems and driving sustainable growth, through intelligent use of processes and customer information.

“We left well-paid jobs to make All My Systems work,” said Mark.  “But that commitment is already paying dividends and we are so pleased to have won this award, it has come completely out of the blue,” he said.

The consultancy has rapidly made itself distinctive by adopting what is known as the “socio-technical” approach, which means involving all stakeholders in the decision-making process and now has a growing list of clients in the North of England.  In a previous news story, it was reported that AMS was predicting 80% growth for the next financial year and it seems the success is set to continue.

Mark and Briony, speaking at the award’s presentation, collectively voiced their passion for Huddersfield and said they wanted to keep giving positive contributions to the area.

Pete Murray “We are helping businesses grow,” said Mark.  “And when they do, it means more people are spending money, which is good for the local economy, but also businesses will typically need to employ more staff.

“As a result, the consultancy provides a strong foundation for bringing in more employment and prosperity to the region and we want this to continue,” he added.
